There’s nothing quite like a Tasmanian winter – misty mornings, roaring fires, and the comforting click of knitting needles. This off-season, we’re inviting you to experience the warmth of community (and actual wool) at the Tasmanian Wool Centre in Ross.
Introducing our FREE off-season knitting experience, where you’ll join in creating a fabulous scarf for our quirky mascot, Jim the Door Ram. That’s right – Jim’s chilly, and your crafting skills are urgently needed.
Settle into our cosy shop, bring a friend (or don’t – solo stitchers are welcome!), and add your own creative touch to Jim’s winter look. We’ve got everything ready – all we need is you.
The Details:
What: A self-directed knitting session, contributing to Jim’s ever-growing scarf
When: Bookings from 1 June to 31 August 2025
Where: Right here in the heart of Ross, Tasmania
Cost: Totally FREE
Spots: Max 2 people per session – limited bookings due to staffing
