This photograph of the kids of Ross School is probably the oldest we have, estimated at about 1900. After that we have at least one photograph for every decade, meaning that if a family member of yours went to the Ross School, it’s quite likely we have a photograph of them as an ankle biter.
Ross is easy to find – we’re 120 km north of Hobart and 78 km south of Launceston just off the Midland Highway (Hwy 1).
Opening hours: 10.00 am – 3.00 pm, 7 days.
Closed Christmas Day, Good Friday, and until 12.00 pm on Anzac Day.
