This lady was Mrs Mary Ann Goss (nee Glover), of Ross. She married her husband Nicholas Goss in 1877 when she was 18. Her husband was 47. She was his second wife.
Nicholas gave his occupation as ‘laborer’ and Mary Ann was the daughter of a shoemaker in Tunbridge. Mary Ann was born the year her husband emigrated to Tasmania, in 1855. She lived until 1911.
